I recently picked up a 2 pack through Amazon and hiked a couple of mountains over the fourth of July weekend — they were amazing. Today, about 21 days later, I noticed the metal ring you clip onto is gone; good thing I wasn't leaning over a waterfall or a cliff. The ring must have an opening it shouldn't have — had I known, I'd have gotten out the soldering gun and closed them myself. Do you sell the metal ring separately? I'll take a dozen! If not for this I'd have given it a 5☆ review, and I don't even see how to contact you other than returning to Amazon.

I'm currently overseas with my Hold Mate and, being a bit older and forgetful, it has been gold for me. By now I would definitely have put my phone down somewhere and lost it for sure. It's been heavily used and is still in the condition I got it in. Online purchases are usually cheap and nasty, but this one is really well designed and sturdy. Best travel purchase I made for this trip and I highly recommend it. I'm a tough critic, trust me 😄

I think the tab that fits inside the phone case is too flimsy. I work outside, and on the first day there was pressure on the tab and it pulled out of the case. I do like the retractable cord. I'm curious to see how long the attachments last, especially the clip at the phone end.
