I recently bought a 2 pack on Amazon and hiked a couple of mountains over the fourth of July weekend — they worked great. Today, roughly 21 days later, I saw that the metal ring you clip onto is gone; lucky I wasn't leaning over a waterfall or a cliff. The ring must have a gap it shouldn't have, and had I known I'd have grabbed the soldering gun and closed them myself. Do you sell the metal ring on its own? I'd buy a dozen! Without this issue I'd have left a 5☆ review — I can't even find a way to contact you other than returning to Amazon.

I'm travelling abroad with my Hold Mate and, being a bit older and forgetful, it has been gold for me. By now I'd definitely have set my phone down somewhere and lost it. It's had heavy use and still looks the way it did when I got it. Online buys are usually cheap and nasty, but this one is genuinely well designed and sturdy. In my opinion the tab that goes inside the phone case is too flimsy. I work outdoors, and on the very first day pressure on the tab pulled it out of the case. The retractable cord is nice. I'm curious how long the attachments will hold up, especially the clip on the phone end.
